Let's Play

Here's another beach layout.  Boy, I guess I'm ready for summer!!!  We don't hear that often down here in the South.  Most of us dread the HOT summers!!!

This was a fun layout to put together.  I used blue open stock paper for the background and I used off white card stock for the sand.  I inked the sand to give it some dimension.  The sand is cut from the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge on page 41.  The book has the cut displayed as water, but I cut it to use as my sand.  I think it turned out cute.

The sandcastle is cut from the same cartridge and can be found on page 77.  I cut it out twice for some added dimension since this is an accessory to the cartridge and it only cuts as a single layer.  I also inked the castle with Momento brown ink.  The cute little crab was cut from Create-A-Critter cartridge at 1.25".  I used my Gypsy to hide the face and used my Peach Keen Stamps PK-490 Everyday Character Face Assortment.

The beach chair and umbrella were also cut from the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge on page 41.  These were cut multiple times to give them some dimension.

The title was cut from Create-A-Critter cartridge on page 40 at 4.46".  I used Hobby Lobby yellow gingham ribbon and yellow poka dot ribbon as embellishments on the photographs.

Now, where is my swim suit????  I gotta go find it!!!!
