Get Well, Chickie

I loved making this card.  I think it turned out really cute!!!

This is a 5.5" x 8.5" card made with craft card stock and two layers of papers each 1/2" smaller than another.  The top layer is open stock pattern paper, and I used the Martha Stewart Loops punch on the bottom of it.  Of course, I used the cute little chick from Create-A-Critter cartridge on page 53.  She is cut at 3.5" and I used my Gypsy to hide the face.  The face was created using the PK-754 Critter Faces-Medium.  I used pink chalk for the cheeks, colored in her beak and added some doodling. I used Glossy Accents for the boots to make them look wet.  The water puddle was cut from page 44 at 3".  The flower is from Recollections Flower Embellishments.  I used Martha Stewart Crystal Fine Glitter on the water and flower to give them some shimmer.  The "Get Well" stamp is from TPC Studio-Greetings.

The umbrella was cut from the Paisley cartridge at 3" on page 48.  I used The Paper Studio Gemstone for the very top of the umbrella and used Martha Stewart Crystal Fine Glitter as an accent.

The rain clouds were cut from the Simply Charmed cartridge on page 69.  They were cut at 1.75".  I used Martha Stewart Crystal Fine Glitter on them as well.    Wrapped around the top layer of pattern paper, I used white Tulle with pink satin ribbon combined with pink poka-dot ribbon from Hobby Lobby.

The inside of the card is doodled and I used the Martha Stewart corner Loops punch.
